"According to a recent study, there are now exactly three classes of people in Portland: the people who work at Wieden+Kennedy; the people who deliver soup and coffee to them by bicycle; and the people who build expensive bicycles for all of them."

It's Friday afternoon, and I'm sitting at the IPRC about to attempt to print and self-publish my first book/comic. Under normal circumstances I would be thrilled, but my car overheated on the way over here, and I am worried about it. (This is the first time I have allowed a car of mine to overhead in many, many years; but the fan stopped working and I was stuck in downtown traffic on a particularly hot day.) So I am feeling frustrated and annoyed—but I'll be over it soon enough.
Self-publishing. The control and immediacy of doing things this way is great, but the promotion end has me a little underwhelmed. I expect things to go nowhere, but it will be a fun experience nonetheless. If I am really lucky, look for me at Powell's!
