Crashbox

Went to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland tonight, and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! I have rarely enjoyed a movie so much, and highly recommend it. All the performances were flawless, (at least I thought so), and though I didn't watch it in 3-D, the visual style and execution was really stunning. The story was highly Burtonized, as you can well imagine, but it was all was done very well with some clever blending from Through the Looking Glass, and some well-placed direct quotes from the original book. While not ever really surprising, it was not overly predictable either, and had a pleasant, feel-good satisfaction to the ending. Just simply, a great film.

P.S. I have had a bit of crush on Anne Hathaway for a while now, but after this, I am totally in love with her! (In a married-person sort of way, of course...)
