This has to be one of the most boring days I have had yet...

Well!
I did not actually intend to completely revamp my blog yesterday, but I managed to delete the old template settings irrevocably. Guess that is what I get for trying to modify HTML without actually understanding it, WHILE very, very tired. Oh well. This old blog certainly needed some updating, and I think this is a great opportunity to pick up all those old lose ends and start posting the things I have been meaning to for months. Check back soon for new artwork.

For over two hours now I have been surfing through various artists' sites and blogs on the internet, and I have run across some pretty cool and weird stuff. It has inspired me to make a new effort to post my own artwork and poetry again...for now though, check out this cool alley wall painting!

I still have no access to any google-related webpages from home, and, as work has been busier than ever, I never have a chance to sit down and write a post. I miss writing here, and more than that I miss reading others' blogs. I think Neoteronous was right when he said (quite a while ago now) that our blog circles---those of us from the era of Homeschool Distortion, drinking, music and cards at The Pines, and Sunday night bowling---are quickly dwindling and will perhaps be gone forever. It's a little sad to note the passing of a time when all of us were even more rootless, careless and drunk than we are now...but time and adulthood bring very good things. I suspect those of us that continue to write in the cyber world will find plenty of dreams and adventures to document; we never really change, we just get smarter and (God willing) holier.
