I recently recovered a couple of artifacts from my past that I haven't seen for more than a decade: A 1978 Realistic turntable and a huge, HEAVY, early-'80s Sansui amp. The local thrift store provided a set of vintage RCA 3-speaker boxes that sound great for $15, and I have been raiding thrift stores and vintage shops for LPs. The sound-quality of records (minus needle hiss) is fantastic, and there is something very satisfying about cueing up some vinyl that's older than me! The collection is growing nicely, last night's excursion adding Jim Croce, Chopin, and Joan Jett to mix.
On a different note, why are pictures of girls smoking so damn sexy?!?

Recently I have tackled some logo design for a couple of start up companies:
These guys are off the ground, and gaining momentum.
This company is still in the development stage, but the first proposal has gone out and things are looking positive. Either way, it has been good to do some design work.
