So many times I sit down to blog, log in, go the create new post page, then get distracted, interrupted, and never write a thing. Often I think I should just quit bogging altogether, but memories and friends and that strange desire to make inner thoughts public keeps me here. The whole idea of this online journal thing is sort of weird.

I like these breaks when all the students are gone and the college campus is quiet and deserted. The lights in the commons building are out and the classrooms are locked. No heavy, comforting library is available for reading or visiting, no regular meals or milling flocks of students. Maybe you feel a little less taken care of, but the beauty and fun of the campus is still open...like slipping into forbidden places and staying up all night in the summer. And trowing things at the head prefect from the roof of the commons...
